Alberto Ruiz

Alberto Ruiz is a Sound Artist specialized in creating sound compositions for performing art. He uses recorded sounds (non-synthetic) from different sources and manipulates them to create imaginary environments on stage. He is interested in exploring the possible roles of sounds in relation to a live image. Alberto is graduated from London College of Communication with a degree in Sound Arts and Design. Over the last two years he has been collaborating with choreographers Jesus Rubio and Jose Vidal. He has recently participated in several animation projects. Alberto has worked with HitchhikeDance Collective in the two productions Of cries and flower and sky and face and Gentlemen’s venues.

Bethan West

Bethan is a graduate from Wimbledon College of Art with a degree in Theatre Design for Performance. She designs for the Fashion and Textile Museum and for various Fringe theatre productions. She focuses on the overall aesthetic of a piece, by designing a production, which evokes emotion and stimulates the audience’s imaginations. Bethan has been collaborating with HitchhikeDance Collective from 2007, designing for two productions: Of cries and flower and sky and face and Gentlemen’s Venues.
